To support selected undergraduate students, Rio Tinto provides temporary paid employment for students in selected disciplines while at university, including: geology and other geosciences, environmental studies, metallurgy, most engineering disciplines, information technology, chemistry and a range of associated sciences and disciplines. Vacancies may also exist for those seeking work in marketing, commerce, recruitment, human resources, accounting, business management, communications, community relations, external relations and law.
Rio Tinto also provides scholarships at selected universities in specific disciplines.
